Mothlight

This sculpture was created as an architectural

column for the Mothlight Studio. Its surface is

sandblasted into a texture of natural looking relief that makes reference to the surrounding forest where the studio is located.

The shapes formed in light echo the texture

of the stone. A variety of color and form combinations

continually change for days without exact repetition. Indicating a scale that goes beyond the sculpture's physical presence, the light evokes, through movement and form, a supreme space.

The sculpture is 14' high.
