This sculpture is a warm dark red color with black sand adding a natural texture. It has been carved on the bottom with contorted vines that offer the suggestion of a medieval artifact.
The fiber optics that appear on its surface use the geometric forms explored with the Buddha’s Seat Series. As with most of the works in this series, this piece, because of its complex arrangement of fibers, creates hundreds of variations on its theme.
